
Peggy -
Peggy
earned a BFA in Theater from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where
she won the Irene Ryan Acting Award for Region II. She also earned a
Bachelor of Funny Arts degree from the Ringling Brothers & Barnum
& Bailey Clown College. She spent a year with the Bloomsburg
Theater Ensemble performing various stage roles before she joined the
Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus as a clown touring the US
for 2 years. For the next 8 years she toured the US, Europe,
Scandinavia and made appearances at the International Festival du
Cirque du Monte Carlo with her partner Johnny Peers and their 24 mutts
in their comedy dog act. There they won the Monte Carlo Television and
Emmanuel Bellini Clown Awards. Next Peggy began working shipboard for
Royal Caribbean International with the team that created the Krooze
Komics program for their Voyager class ships. As the first of its kind
in the cruise industry, the Krooze Komic program incorporates
slapstick, juggling, improvisation, stilt walking and sketch comedy to
entertain the on-board guests. Relocating to Miami allowed her to join
the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Team at Miami Children’s Hospital as
Doctor Éclair when she wasn’t at sea. Peggy has also worked with the
New York Goofs Improv troupe, the Seaside Clowns and entertains at
corporate events, fairs and festivals.
